Anya's Story
Anya has gone from a stray running around in the desert, to trapped by HARTT, E-Listed at the Arizona Humane Society and then pulled into rescue. Several months went by and Anya slowly started gaining confidence, learning to trust and how to be a dog. Someone finally saw her to give her the next chance she needed - a home.

Anya has moved into foster where she has been learning her place in her new pack of 10 dogs, running around the back yard and even learning how to swim!

Anya has most likely never been in a home before, but she's adjusting to home life nicely. She's learning her crate, potty-training and the beauty of a comfy couch.

Anya is shy and very slow to warm up, but thanks to the patience and consistency of her foster she has been building trust and learning to accept affection - she even gets so excited when her foster gets home and runs up for pets!

Anya will thrive in a confident, patient home that will allow her to build trust. She is a sweet and gentle soul that takes time to warm up to people, but the wait is worth it. Anya will thrive in a home with another confident dog(s).
