But despite it all, he’s still sweet, loving, and eager to trust the right person. He just needs someone who truly understands hounds—their independent streak, their goofy personalities, and their boundless love for the outdoors.

This beautiful boy is a true head-turner, a textbook hound through and through. He’s always ready for an adventure, whether it’s a long hike, a day of sniffing around, or just soaking in the sights and sounds of nature. Though he still has a bit of a wild side, he’s working hard on his house manners and getting better with potty training every day. He’s also learning the joy of play and discovering how much fun life can be.

Antler seems to get along well with other dogs and has that classic pack-dog nature. He’s independent yet social, strong-willed yet affectionate. With patience, consistency, and a little understanding, he’ll become the most devoted and loving companion. He may take some time and effort, but the reward is a loyal best friend for life.

If you’re up for the challenge and ready to give Antler the love he deserves, he’s waiting for you at Lighthouse Animal Shelter!

Other Dogs
Dog social

Cats
Unknown can be tested

Children
We do not have kids to test with.
