Annika's Story
Annika came to us from Yuma. She was VERY shy and has made some progress in foster but is still going to require patience and work in her forever home. She is still unsure of the leash and anxious about new situations. She is very devoted to her foster mom and her trainer, has learned the joys of living indoors and is pretty well housebroken. She does well in a crate but is generally not destructive. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and ages and also has no issues with cats, and would likely be best in a home with other animals.

Annika is around 4 years old and about 17 lbs. She is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. She does have an issue with one of her front legs (possibly the result of malnutrition) but it does not cause her any pain and does not slow her down. She has not shown too much interest in toys (yet) and seems to thrive on routines. Meet and greets will need to be at her foster home (midtown Tucson).
