Annie Luna - 687's Story

Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/White Shepherd mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She is an absolutely perfect dog!

She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels!

Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from the age of 5 months on and has been through professional training as well. She doesn't jump, rarely bark and wants nothing more than to be with her people. She comes to you with a wave of a hand - knows sit, down, stay, and place all super well.

Deaf dogs are just like normal dogs and to Luna is eager to show you all of her skills and comes with a training session to learn all of her commands!

Luna would prefer to be an only dog in her house but has no issues going for walks or being around other dogs in public.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.

All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
