Annie's Story

Holá

My name is Annie and everyone calls me “Tiny Tank” — I’m short, stocky, and play like a true bulldog: all heart, all energy, and unlimited curiosity.

I love going on walks even short ones. I gotta let you know I’m still learning not to pull (it’s sometimes hard to control all these muscles). I know with some more training will be the best walker and tug of war games. I’ll try to let you win a couple of times. 💕

I am proud to say I keep my kennel clean while my foster moms at work and haven’t had any accidents in the house.

Using my big expressive eyes and smile, I now sleep with my foster mom in the corner of the bed. So I make a fabulous nap buddy and cuddle queen.

I’m currently fostered by myself, but I’ve been around small dogs and a cats (they told me their the boss of the house). Large dogs are questionable; I am not sure I like them.

Due to her strength and size, she would thrive in a loving home with older child(ren) and small dog siblings.

I’m content whether with another easygoing dog or as your one-and-only companion. She’s perfectly suited for a singleton or quiet adults who appreciate a peaceful atmosphere. A small yard would be her dream spot, where she can eat snow and chase balls.

She's a true entertainer with her raspy voice and goofy zoomies that keep us laughing!

If you’re looking for a sweet, wiggly companion that’s happy being the center of attention or playing with dog siblings look no further than then this girl!

Annie is ready to meet you and bring love into your home! Adopt her today and let her fill your life with joy.

Foster to contact haga0046@gmail.com
Adoption Fee: $450 (no checks)

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home
&
truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption; discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, & 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
Last Hope, Inc. is an all volunteer, foster based, no kill rescue! You can see almost all of our dogs on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 11 am - 2 pm at Apple Valley Petco (7590 150th St W, Apple Valley, MN 55124)
Policies: You do not have to have a fence to adopt a dog from us, but some dogs will require a fence or acres to play, or an active family who will make sure the dog gets the exercise it needs to be happy. Some dogs do not have the temperament that will do well with young children.
The Adoption Fee is not enough to cover the vet bills. Sales tax of almost 7.25% is also included in the adoption fee that you see. Please consider donating to Last Hope to help us save these animals!
CAN YOU FOSTER? By taking a dog or puppies temporarily into your home and then coming to our adoption days to help find them homes, we can save more! If you’re interested, please email our office @ mail@last-hope.org and give us your contact information and what you would like to foster and someone will get back to you!
