ANNIE's Story

Annie came to us as a stray alongside her friend Fran (A050817) on 9/2/25, and she’s been quietly charming everyone she meets ever since. This sweet girl has a mellow, easygoing nature with just the right dash of playful personality. When you walk up to her kennel, Annie can’t help but show her excitement — she’ll do a little happy bounce to say hello and may even wiggle and hop while you’re getting her leash on. Once she’s geared up for the adventure though, she settles right in and walks beautifully on leash with barely any pulling. She’s an easy, peaceful companion. She knows how to sit on command and takes treats ever so gently from your hand like a true lady. While mostly low energy, toys are where her playful side really shines. They really bring her energy level up! She loves entertaining herself and can spend a good while batting a squeaky toy or ball around with her paws and scooting it along with her nose. She doesn’t actually pick them up - she prefers her own adorable soccer like style of play - but she’ll happily keep herself busy and having fun.
