Why? “Her back legs didn’t work,” they said. Her owners turned her over to a shelter in West Virginia to die. She had no chance of survival there and when we saw her story, we couldn’t turn our backs so “Booger” became “Annie.” Annie has been going through rehab and continues to improve. Her rear-end is still a bit slow but she is able to keep up with her foster brothers and sisters. Annie is a black and tan beagle.
