Why? &ldquo;Her back legs didn&rsquo;t work,&rdquo; they said. Her owners turned her over to a shelter in West Virginia to die. &nbsp;She had no chance of survival there and when we saw her story, we couldn&rsquo;t turn our backs so &ldquo;Booger&rdquo; became &ldquo;Annie.&rdquo; &nbsp;Annie has been going through rehab and continues to improve.&nbsp; Her rear-end is still a bit slow but she is able to keep up with her foster brothers and sisters. Annie is a black and tan beagle.
