Annie's Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting! We look forward to helping you adopt your next companion animal.

It was almost 100 degrees when Annie had pictures made!

All dogs and cats are fostered in Alabama volunteer homes with retirees, or with working families, kids and teenagers, other dogs and sometimes cats too.

When your application is approved, we put you in touch with the foster for FaceTime so you can see your puppy in real time and ask questions. It's a process that's worked for hundreds of dogs over the past fifteen years.

All dogs and cats are fully vetted prior to adoption. Spayed/neutered, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormed, parasite prevention. All dogs and cats come with medical records.

There is lots of room to write on the application. Please tell us about yourself, and your pets, current or previous.

Annie is approximately 16 weeks old and weighs about 24 pounds. She was dropped off and left for stray in a rural neighborhood in the country. There was a witness. We will never understand why someone would do that to her. She has been a wonderful Foster Puppy, very easy to manage, and always has her attention on her foster Mom.

Annie lives in a Foster Home with two other dogs, but an exotic bird in a large birdcage keeps her attention! She will lay on the floor for a long time quietly watching that bird! She enjoys retrieving a ball!

She is not living with a cat, but she may have been introduced to Cats previously. We can get her cat tested for an approved applicant.

We think she'd be great with kids, especially school age kids. They would give her someone else to look up to. She's wonderful with dogs. Annie is crate trained and never has accidents in her foster home.

We do not know her history therefore we do not know her DNA. Most mixed breeds in the south have multiple breeds in them, sometimes a dozen or more. We call her good girl!

Total for a healthy vetted pet. $300. You come for Annie, we meet halfway, or we find a volunteer to help get her south on I65. That usually means the adopter offers up gas money to the volunteer.

Serious adopters should fill out the application online and we'll be in touch in a day or two.

We prefer a vet reference, current or previous, to adopt a puppy. We might make an exception based on the application.

Copy and paste the link into your browser and fill out the easy application online.

https://form.jotform.com/212574701956157
