Location: Duluth , GA This precious girl is Annabelle. She is 9 years old but don't let that number fool you. She is a smaller girl at 40 lbs. She is full of life, playful, active, healthy and sadly looking for a new home. Her mama loves her so very much, but her mama is facing a very critical illness, and she feels Annabelle deserves a home that will focus on her. Annabelle is the absolute sweetest. She LOVES chew toys and bones, she has a jaw of steel. She will play fetch all day with you or spend the day on the couch if you let her. Doesn’t matter what she is doing as long as she is with you, she is happy. She is very much a Velcro Dalmatian. She loves to sunbathe and of course take rides in the car. Annabelle has gone through professional obedience training. While she is on the “older” side, she has been completely healthy and has so much life and love to give. Annabelle does great as a single dog, if you have another canine in the home, she is quite shy/unsure of new dogs, so SLOW introductions are a must and she will warm up. Sorry no kitties and only older children 14+ If Annabelle is adopted in GA, her trainer is willing to honor the “lifelong” training perk with her. NO apartments or Condos, Annabelle will bark. Save the Dalmatians and Others Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy

The first step in our adoption process is for the prospective adopter to complete our Adoption Application Questionnaire which helps us best match you with the the dog that would be most suited to your home environment and expectations. Email us at info@savethedals.org with the name of the dog that interests you and we will send you our Adoption Application Questionnaire. If based on the Application Questionnaire we think one of our dogs is a good match to your home environment and expectations, we will follow up with a phone call, advise you of the adoption fee, schedule a home visit if applicable, and arrange a meet and greet with the dog. Adopters are also required to sign our Adoption Contract; you will be provided a copy of the contract for you to review and ask questions before you adopt the dog. Note that we often have multiple applicants wanting to adopt the same dog. Our selection process is not based on whose application we receive first. It is based on who we believe will be the best match for the dog, allowing for the greatest success of a high quality, loving forever home, with the least likelihood of the dog needing to be returned to rescue. We commit to the life of each dog we rescue, such that at any point in the life of the dog if its adopter is no longer able to keep the dog, the adopter signs our adoption contract agreeing that they will return the dog to Save The Dalmatians and Others Canine Rescue. The dog is not to be turned into an animal shelter.
