Annabelle's Story

Annabelle
Spayed
10 Years old

Annabelle is the definition of a laid-back sweetheart. This lovely girl is happiest lounging on her comfy bed or stretched out on the couch, soaking up the peaceful life. If you’re looking for a calm, low-key companion to share quiet evenings with, Annabelle may be your perfect match.

Annabelle has had most of her teeth removed, so she enjoys soft kibble or wet food at mealtime. She’s also completely deaf, which just adds to her gentle, unique charm. Since she can’t hear you, you’ll need to gently touch her to wake her when it’s time to go outside — and she handles that just fine.

One of Annabelle’s favorite things in the world? Belly rubs! She absolutely loves being petted and will happily roll onto her back for some good tummy scratches. She’s incredibly polite — she doesn’t beg when you’re eating and hardly ever barks. In fact, she’s only barked once since coming into care!

While she can be playful with other dogs when the mood strikes, Annabelle is mostly content to relax and enjoy her surroundings. She would thrive in a calm home where she can lounge, be loved on, and enjoy a predictable routine.

If you’re searching for a sweet, quiet, low-maintenance companion with lots of love to give, Annabelle is ready to curl up right beside you.

Interested in adopting? Submit an adoption application on our website rescuedrascalsil.org!

We will review your application at our earliest convenience. If your application is selected, we will contact you for a phone interview. From there, we’d schedule a meet and greet with the dog to make sure it is a great fit for adoption for the whole family and any other dogs in your home.

Questions about adoption?
