Annabelle's Story
“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations“.

Hi, I’m Annabelle. One of the ladies at WRG found this quote & thought it fit for me. I really hope she’s right.

You see, I’ve been waiting a long time for my forever home. I was saved from a shelter last December. I was then lucky enough to get 10 weeks of training at Piedmont Animal Welfare Alliance. They did a great job with me (and I did my part too)! I’m house-trained, great with other (bigger) dogs and about 55 lbs. Oh, great with kids too. I do need to still work on two things: 1) I admit that I’m a bit of an escape artist and 2) because I am a Redtick Hound, I do see most small animals as “prey”, so no small dogs or small farm animals (e.g., ducks, chickens, rabbits) would work around me.

My whole 3 years of life I’ve been waiting for my “beautiful destination”. I may not be perfect, but could I be perfect for you? XOXO, Annabelle
