Introducing Anna Wintour! Anna is the mama of our incoming Met Gala litter! Anna and her puppies have spent the last few weeks at Aska's Animals Foundation. Prior to their arrival at Aska's, they were rescued from an overcrowded home on the Wind River Reservation. We are so excited to finally be welcoming them into our program and can't wait for their adoption journey to begin. Anna is very excited to be done nursing her puppies & to begin finding her own way once again - it's hard raising six puppies all on your own! She is still a teenager herself and loves to go on "sniffari's" where she can get to know her surroundings & let her nose lead her around. She is friendly with other dogs, though not too interested in rough play. She has been great with kids of all ages and simply enjoys receiving human affection. She has shown a lot of interest in farm animals and we would not reccomend her in a home with other livestock. Anna would do best in a home where she can get outside for daily exercise, have some structure so that she can learn how to be the best girl, and would be happy with or without other dogs! To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
