Anna - COMING SOON's Story
Meet Anna. She is a spayed, female Maltese, estimated to be about 12 years old.

Anna was found and taken to animal control where she was scheduled to be euthanized. Luckily, someone known to our rescue (Annastasia) contacted us to see if we had room for her. How could we say no? In honor of Annastasia helping to save her, our rescue named her Anna.

Anna is up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm tested negative. She had a dental completed and unfortunately, had to have several teeth removed, leaving only 3 teeth in her mouth. We believe Anna lived with the pain of periodontal disease for a long time, causing an infection that ate away at the bone on the front of her jaw until there was nothing left. When she first arrived at the rescue, she was quiet, slept all the time and had zero enthusiasm. Since her dental work, she is a new dog – bright eyed, expressive, talkative and active.
Anna has a heart murmur, but has gotten an echocardiogram and thankfully does not require heart medication.

Anna is a petite little girl who would love to be the center of someone’s world – taking her with them on walks, shopping, etc. This sweet girl deserves to be spoiled for the rest of her life. – she certainly deserves it.

If you are interested in meeting Anna, she will be at Pet Supplies Plus in Howell (2649 E. Grand River) on Sundays from 11-2 at our Meet and Greet event.

It is helpful for you to bring pictures and/or videos of your backyard fenced area. Additionally, it would be helpful for you to bring your other dogs as well so that we can see the interaction between them.

We do not typically do day of adoptions

To complete a pre adopt app go to https://tinyurl.com/LETS-PreAdopt-app

Adoption fee $250 (payable by cash, check or Venmo).

No out of state adoptions

Kids 8 years and older.

Minimum age to adopt is 21.
