Meet sweet little Annie! ?<br/><br/>Annie is a 1½-year-old Rat Terrier mix weighing just 12 pounds. She is an incredibly joyful, affectionate girl who lights up every room she enters. Annie loves to romp around the yard and then settle in for a cozy cuddle session on the couch.<br/><br/>She gets along wonderfully with all the pups in her foster home and is a total snuggle bug—with the cutest smile to match! She rides beautifully in the car and is happiest when she’s close to her person. <br/><br/>Annie does have a neurological condition—possibly epilepsy, though it hasn’t been fully confirmed. She takes a simple medication twice a day, which costs $15 a month, and it helps her live a comfortable, happy life.<br/><br/>Her story hasn’t always been easy. Annie was given away outside a Walmart, and the woman who took her later brought her to a vet to be euthanized. Thankfully, the vet team saw her bright spirit and knew she deserved a chance. They contacted us, and Annie has been thriving in foster care ever since.<br/><br/>While she can be a little wobbly at times, it never slows her down. Lone Star Underdogs Animal Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Adoption Fee: Adoption fee of $295 includes capstar, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing (age appropriate) 2-3 de-wormings (puppies), rabies vaccination, series of 3 dhpp vaccinations for puppies and 1 dhpp vaccination for adults, baths & nail trimming and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Senior adoption fees will be done on a dog by dog basis Adoption Process: If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, you MUST complete an Adoption Application If you have a general question, you can email us at: lonestarunderdogs@gmail.com Once we receive your application, it will be sent to the family that is fostering the pup you are interested in. They will review it and if they feel it is a good match, they will reach out to you with any additional questions they may have and/or to schedule a meet. If the foster and potential adopter both feel like it is a good match, the adoption process can be completed by filling out the Adoption contract and paying the adoption donation.
