Angus

Angus, a 10-month-old mixed breed, was found in mid-July with a horrific leg injury. It was touch and go for a few days as he was emaciated and his leg was severely infected. Our heroes at Canton Veterinary Hospital stepped up as usual and saved his life. Angus is still healing physically but is very fast on three legs. His anemia is resolving and he has gained 8 pounds so far. Due to how sick he was we have not yet tested him with other animals. <br/>Angus is still mastering housebreaking so would do well on a schedule throughout the day. He is in that teenage stage so can be mischievous. <br/>Angus needs to gain up to 10 pounds to catch up as he is still very thin and growing. His current weight is 30 pounds. Angus still thinks food may not be available so will eat anything edible (and non-edible) if given the chance. <br/>Angus needs a patient family that will give him the chance to thrive and become the dog that he was always meant to be. We dont want people to adopt him because they feel sorry for him.
