Angus would make someone a great companion. He is affectionate but not needy. He is quiet and compatible with other dogs. He keeps his kennel tidy and is not a destructive dog. Because of his sweet temperament , he has become a shelter favorite. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines and is on a monthly heartworm preventative. He is good with kids, tolerant of cats and other dogs..

We do not have a full time shelter staff person but we are happy to meet people at the shelter by appointment 7 days per week including after hours. We expect our adopters to (1) Own your property, (2) Have a fence adequate for the dog, (3) Be able to provide a vet reference if you have previously owned an animal.
