Angelica's Story

Angelica is 9 months old and weighs 37 pounds — a young, happy girl who is blossoming more every day! She's got that perfect mix of playful energy and total cuddle bug... because yes, she is absolutely a Velcro dog who loves being close to her people.

Angelica can be a little skittish with new places and things at first, but she warms up quickly once she knows she's safe. With a little patience and love, her sweet and silly personality really shines through.

She's doing amazing with her training! Angelica is fully potty trained and will even use a dog door all on her own. She knows “sit” and “down,” will happily catch treats tossed her way (which is as cute as it sounds!), and is currently working on “stay” and “come.” She's also very good on leash and enjoys getting out for walks and adventures.

Angelica has come a long way — she now hops right into the car by herself and has learned that rides can be fun! She does still have a bit of puppy enthusiasm and may jump up sometimes, but she's learning her manners and eager to please.

She enjoys having company in the yard and prefers not to be alone outside for long — she'll do her business and then come right back, ready to be with her people. She's also still discovering the joys of toys and treats, and she's definitely decided treats are a very good thing

Angelica gets along great with other dogs and would love a playful companion. She does chase kitties, so a cat-free home would be best for her.

This sweet girl is ready to find a family who will continue her training and shower her with love — she'll stick by your side through it all

Apply to adopt Angelica at bcaaofnj.org
