Angel and Willbe's Story
Willbe and Angel must be the most affectionate dogs that we have ever met - they love everyone, and from their happy disposition you would never know how sad their story is. They were both adopted (at different times over the years) from Poodle Rescue by a very loving woman and her husband who is wheelchair-bound. The woman suddenly became ill and passed away. Her unfortunate husband must move into a nursing home and he had to say good-bye to his little sweethearts.

We know that Willbe is 10 years old, and a very spunky boy. We only know that his older "sister" is over 12 years old and has arthritis that needs daily medication. She gets around fine and without any complaint but does have a very noticeable limp. They both have a healthy appetite and Willbe is a little on the hefty side but at the same time loves to get out and run. Angel loves to take lots of time and slowly explore outside, she can't really go for walks or do much running around so for this reason a fenced-in yard would be ideal for them.

Both dogs are completely housetrained and up to date on everything except dental treatment according to their most recent vet records. They both do well with other dogs (I would imagine cats are fine too) but Angel is so sweet and timid that she tends to get pushed around easily by overly zealous buddies including Willbe. He does make up for it though, he is very consistent about keeping Angel's eyes and ears clean and he makes sure to wait for her when she is still outside exploring.

We have also discovered that Angel is deaf and that Willbe can be very aggressive with other alpha dogs. These two may be adopted together OR separately. We recommend a home with adults only.

So if you are interested in two buddies who are guaranteed to bring you chronic love and happiness then we invite you to fill out an application.
Our application is available online. Please feel free to complete it and send it to us if you're looking to adopt a poodle in the New England area.
