Andi's Story

2/5/26 Andi is a 35lb 6 month old mixed breed. We do not know their breed for sure. She is the sibling of Theo and Angel. Andi is the most independent one out of her litter. She is a toy/tool thief if you turn your back she will steal whatever you have. She is grateful just like her siblings and loves to get loved on just not as attention seeking as her siblings. She will talk to you either with a bark or some kind of noise. She gets along with the goats and tortoise but is very interested in the cats and chickens but have never interacted she isn’t as interested as Theo but they def catch her attention. Just like Theo and angel she too was left abandoned with no food or water, chained to a tree and could not reach her house in the freezing temperatures at that time. She will make a great family member. Good with kids and other dogs.

She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays.

To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059

Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.

Adopt A Stray Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process begins with an adoption application, which requires 3 non family personal references and a vet reference if the applicant has had pets in the past 5 years. We check all references, asking about their home, yard, available time for a pet, financial capability of caring for a pet, etc. We contact their vet on file and verify that past or present pets have been spayed/neutered and kept up to date on recommended vaccinations as well as heartworm prevention. If all references check out, we then use various social media apps and google to make sure there are no red flags, then we move forward with the adoption if all of that checks out.
