Hi! I’m Ancil I’m a 4-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. After the Kankakee tornado, I found my way here while looking for safety and a fresh start. Now I’m hoping my next stop is my forever home. Everyone says I’m a sweet, social, and funny guy. I love meeting new people—kids, adults, everyone! Humans are my favorite, and I’m always happy to make new friends. I also get along great with other dogs, so if you already have a pup at home, I’d probably love having a buddy to play with. I enjoy the simple things in life: belly rubs, playtime, exploring, and making people smile with my goofy personality. I’m the kind of dog who just wants to be near my people and be part of the family. I’ve been through a big storm, but my tail still wags and my heart is full of hope. All I need now is a loving home where I can feel safe, have fun, and give lots of love in return.
