Anchor's Story

Anchor was a severe neglected dog who ended up in a very high kill shelter . We saved him just in time from the deadly needle .

He had a long recovery at our vet and I could not believe my eyes that this was the same dog . I guess the best diamonds are under the roughest surface .

Anchor is a very calm dog on the leash . He is easy but he is also on guard . He is clearly abused . When i brought him the first time to his kennel and took the leash off , he gave a growl . Outside walking him happened with zero problems .

Clearly this boy had not so nice owners and we would like to see him with experienced owners who will give him the decompress time before he settles .

He is around 3.5 years old and wats to be the only pet .

Anchor is a gem of a dog and he will open to the right person . For this reason we prefer an adopter who has no children or has children coming to visit .

He is located in Middle Island NY

If you are interested to become his new family than please email us and we send you an adoptionlink to become an approved adopter .

Please only very serious adopters . This was a very neglected dog .
