Anastasia's Story

Meet Anastasia!
Do you want a girl that loves to snuggle and kiss? A brown-eyed beauty who loves car rides and treats? Does your heart melt for a wiggle butt? Do you want to be someone's whole world?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to meet Anastasia, AKA Ana Banana!

Anastasia, lovingly referred to as “Ana”, or “Ana Banana”, by staff and volunteers, is still looking for her forever home. Ana was found tied to a front porch alone after her family moved away and left her behind. Hard to imagine how confused and scared this young girl must have been. Ana has come so far in a relatively short period of time and is looking for an adopter that is patient and kind and can give her what she needs to become the very best version of herself.

Ana is a little over 4 years old and weighing only 65lbs. She loves to run and play fetch with tennis balls. Although it takes Ana time to warm up to new people, once she feels comfortable, she loves petting and affection from her circle of human friends! Ana is dog selective and does well with larger dogs her personality and play style mesh well with. Interested adopters that have larger dogs are encouraged to call the center to arrange a “Meet and Greet”. Ana would do best in a home with older, respectful children and no cats or smaller dogs.

Anastasia comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists and online materials to help you settle your new furry friend into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy, and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday through Friday).

Interested in adopting Anastasia, or arranging a Meet and Greet with your large dog(s)? Please visit our website, triadspca.org/adopt to submit an application or call us at 336-375-3222 for more information.
