Amy

Amy is an 8.5 yr old purebred miniature poodle and weighs 18 lbs. She was adopted as a puppy and the adopter took her home and put her in a crate and never took her out. The adopter returned her at 16 months of age underweight, matted, and with really long nails. Due to this Amy does not do well in a crate unless she can see her human. The groomer Amy sees has crated her with some success, but only as long as Amy can see her and for short periods. She does well in a vehicle, on a leash, and getting groomed. She loves treats, will play with toys, enjoys walks and smelling all the smells. Amy loves all people and craves love. Amy thrives on routine and asked if she wants to go outside will run to the door. She does like to jump up on people when she is excited. Amy is fully vetted, microchipped, had recent dental cleaning, and gets groomed every 5 wks. She also receives monthly preventatives.
