Amy's Story

Amy is an 8.5 yr old purebred miniature poodle and weighs 18 lbs. She was adopted as a puppy and the adopter took her home and put her in a crate and never took her out. The adopter returned her at 16 months of age underweight, matted, and with really long nails. Due to this Amy does not do well in a crate unless she can see her human. The groomer Amy sees has crated her with some success, but only as long as Amy can see her and for short periods. She does well in a vehicle, on a leash, and getting groomed. She loves treats, will play with toys, enjoys walks and smelling all the smells. Amy loves all people and craves love. Amy thrives on routine and asked if she wants to go outside will run to the door. She does like to jump up on people when she is excited. Amy is fully vetted, microchipped, had recent dental cleaning, and gets groomed every 5 wks. She also receives monthly preventatives. Rehoming due to owner passing away.
Amy will need a fenced in yard- no doggie doors or electric fencing please

Adoption fee of $500 includes:
-yearly vaccine
-rabies vaccine
-microchipped
-worm and parasite treated
-spayed
-Heartworm tested negative
-up to date on flea, tick and heartworm meds

If you are interested in adoption please follow the link to her application

https://form.jotform.com/232038657316154

Please send photos of the home and yard wherever the dog will have access to:

Caninepawsabilitiessc@gmail.com
