Amir PENDING ADOPTION's Story
Amir has been loved since the very beginning. Born at our partner rescue in March 2025, he has known safety, kindness, and care and now he’s ready to know what it feels like to have a family of his own.

Amir is a big, goofy boy with the softest, most soulful eyes. He has a gentle way about him and a heart that seems to overflow with love. One of his favorite things to do is wrap himself into you with his sweet “hug you” greetings, as if he’s trying to say thank you for being here.

He finds pure happiness in the simple things, carrying sticks like prized treasures, splashing in ponds, and standing in the water just enjoying the moment. Watching Amir discover joy is something truly special. Amir does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their companionship.

He’s also seems cat-friendly with a dog savvy cat and mostly just curious, taking everything in with his kind, thoughtful nature. This sweet boy has grown up waiting for his turn, waiting for someone to choose him, to love him, and to take him home. Amir is ready to give his whole heart to the family who says yes to him.

He was left behind at the rescue because we didn't have a foster home for him when his siblings Amos, Andrew and mom Amelia were brought up. But, now it's Amir's turn to come north.

This whole litter has been a joy to be around and everyone is raving about how sweet they are and Amir is no exception.

Amir will be brought to Maine when we have a foster home for him, or when he is adopted, which ever come first.
