Amelia

Amelia is a nearly 2 year old, beautiful lady with the best manners. She deserves better than the life started with. Unfortunately, a backyard breeder either unsuccessfully rehomed or dumped Amelia. At several months old, she was able to be contained, but her paw pads were as damaged as her outlook towards life. <br/><br/>Amelia loves all animals, but has found comfort in another dog whose story is much the same. Her gentle and sweet friend, Rocky, who is a few years old, was also dumped and has a similar disposition. <br/><br/>Luckily, they found themselves and each other at Help From My Friends! Their friendship gives them the confidence they need to reach out for human companionship and a family. <br/><br/>Both are terrified of small children and infants, but warm up to older children, teens, and adults very quickly. They need a calm environment, a fenced yard, patience, and a lot of love.
