When Ambrosia first arrived at the shelter, she was absolutely terrified—curled up in a corner, shaking and frozen in fear. But even then, she showed us just how special she is: never once reactive, always allowing staff to handle her gently with quiet trust.<br/><br/>Ambrosia is still learning the world is a safe place. Out in the yard, she’s hesitant but curious, sticking close to the people she trusts. If you sit down, she’ll waste no time curling right up in your lap, hoping for a little comfort and connection.<br/><br/>She’s incredibly sweet and shows us glimpses every day of the happy, loving dog she wants to be.
