Amber was turned into a euthanasia shelter with her brother. Both dogs were at a ghastly weight, and their ears were bloody stumps.<br/><br/> They had to live outside 100% of the time, they were bereft of even the most basic care. They lived were nearby horseflies feasted on their ears for years. The top inch of her ears is gone forever but the rawness is over and they are healing, it will not be terribly noticeable when her fur fills in.<br/><br/>Somehow she is a loving dog, very intensely committed to her person. She has all the positive qualities that shepherds have. She has lovely confirmation and moves stealthily like a wolf. <br/><br/>She was bonded to her brother but her best home is one where she can be doted on and be someones beloved baby. Amber is 2-3 years old and heart worm negative.<br/><br/>She never experienced living in a house before but is catching on to house training.
