This medium sized pup knows how to blend the best of both worlds - he could thrive with an active family that enjoys spending time outdoors but could also enjoy a more chill lifestyle. Alvin is always up for an adventure, whether that is a daily neighborhood walk, a weekend hike, or exploring the park. Alvin is a total sweetheart who loves to relax, but he will also will never turn down the opportunity to burn off his energy. He's the perfect balance - adventure buddy by day, couch companion by night.<br/><br/>Alvin participated in the Partners in Purpose program and already knows several cues like sit, stay, and wait, and he responds well when given structure and clear guidance. When he’s focused on his handler, he shows very nice leash manners and has even impressed in busy environments with lots of distractions. With consistency, Alvin will continue to grow as an incredibly well-mannered companion.<br/><br/>Alvin has good house manners (go Alvin!) and rides in the car well. He may whine or bark a bit at first because he is excited, but he settles in and happily hops in and out of the car for new adventures. He would make a fantastic family pet or a trusty sidekick to a devoted human.<br/><br/>A fenced yard would be a plus for Alvin so he can safely run and play, but the most important thing is a family committed to giving him structure and love.
