Alto's Story

Meet Alto! Alto is a 5-6 year old male, hound mix. We have Alto weighing in at 100 pounds! Alto is looking for a home because life happened… his dad died. Despite his size, Alto is pretty active so we think a fenced in yard and someone who likes to walk would be perfect for this boy. Alto LOVES to exercise – so if you like to hike, Alto would love to be your partner! Alto is fine with other dogs - he honestly doesn't care if the are around or not. He is extremely affectionate (aren’t all big dogs lap dogs?). He has a booming bark (probably the hound in him) and will let you know if someone is in the yard or a car pulls up. Alto has wonderful house manners. Alto would be an ideal pet for someone looking for a loyal companion.

They will die with a feeling of abandonment, lonesomeness, and fear. Yet, these dogs are real, they are l...
