ALPHA's Story

ALPHA - approx 7/8 years old, neutered, vaccines up to date and microchipped. He is in Fabreville / Laval.

ALPHA is very deserving of a forever home and may do best as an only dog. A calm home, either with a single female, or couple, should be experienced with reactive dogs and give him the time and space he needs.

Back in 2019, this handsome white boy and his best friend were dumped outside a boarding facility in Lebanon. We rescued them, cared for them until we were able to bring them to Montreal.

We brought them both to Canada 2021. His best friend found her forever home in Laval area who also fostered ALPHA for a while.

ALPHA was then moved to a new foster that adopted him a year later. ALPHA has had reactivity issues with some dogs and people before they adopted him and his current family worked really hard on that with the trainer and were able to manage very well. (He was totally fine with their female dog LUCY).

He spent a week at a board and train near Quebec City and did amazingly well. The current adopters worked with the trainer multiple times with great success!

Sadly, he started to become reactive to the wife and baby since the arrival of their new baby girl and they are unable to keep him.

The trainer recommends the new adopters should be experienced and ready to train him gradually and calmly and someone who will respect the rules with guests. NO children is best as they can have sudden movements and unpredictability.

ALPHA needs a calm, experienced loving home, one where he will flourish.

We will gladly introduce the new adopter to the trainer in order to continue what he has already worked on.

CALL: 416-587-8804
EMAIL us for an Application: RescueDogsLebanonCanada@gmail.com
