General Notes | Sassy, sweet, silly Seis is the best little pal! He loves snuggles, toys, and going to pickle ball with his foster mama! This pup is getting all the good socialization, loving, and time with his foster fam. Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. He is happiest curled up in their laps, on their chests, or at their feet. He is perfect, truly!<br/><br/>Story | Seis and his six siblings were an &#34;oopsie&#34; litter in Albequrque, New Mexico born to a Shepherd mix mama, and a yellow lab daddy. When they were born, a citizen bystander stepped up and gave them all the love and support they needed for the first eight weeks of their lives. When it came time to wean, the shelter shared they were at capacity and could not take the dogs due to them being at risk for euthanasia. He waited and reached out for additional up until they were brought in by MHLM, and made their way to Colorado! <br/><br/>Other Dogs | Seis does wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small! He lived in a house with 11 dogs prior to coming to Colorado. He is playful but respectful, and sweet as they come. <br/><br/>Cats | Seis has done well with kitties in the past, and would do well with a cat in his new forever home with a proper introduction. <br/><br/>Children | Seis lives with kiddos in his foster house, and LOVES snuggles, play, and pets! He would do great with a family with kiddos. <br/><br/>Training | Seis is almost fully potty trained, is working on crate training, and is food motivated - ready to learn!<br/><br/>Leash | Seis is just starting leash walking, and is adjusting to the big world around him! He is learning day by day. <br/><br/>Activity Level | Moderate<br/><br/>Health Notes | <br/><br/>Thank you! | <br/><br/>Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $525. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).<br/><br/>Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet &amp; greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process.<br/><br/>Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>We encourage you to put in an application even if you don&#39;t see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!<br/><br/>We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
