?? Meet Alora — The Cutest Little Explorer! ?? Alora was found roaming all alone in a local apartment complex parking lot when a kind neighbor spotted her. They kept her safe until our Animal Control Officer arrived to scan for a microchip, hoping to reunite her with her family. No chip was found, and no one ever came forward for this sweet 2-month-old cutie... so now she’s in our adoption kennels, ready to change her story and find her forever home. ?? Iredell County Animal Services & Control Department's Adoption Policy

The adoption fee for our dogs and puppies is $80.00. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, the microchip, the first rabies vaccination, the first distemper/parvo vaccination and being de-wormed. The adoption fee for our cats and kittens is $65.00. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, the first rabies vaccination, the first distemper/upper respiratory combo vaccination and being de-wormed. Occassionally, we have other domestic pets for adoption as well, including (but not limited to) hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, goats and horses. Please check for availability of these animals. Our address is 430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC 28677. Take I-40 to exit # 148 and go South on Garner Bagnal Blvd. When you are at the light in front of Kewaunee Scientific, turn right onto Bristol Dr. We are approximately 1/4 mile down on the right behind the Iredell County Agriculture Department. Our visiting hours are from 10:30 am

We have a rabies clinic on the 2nd Tuesday night of every month from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. If your pet has a current rabies vaccination, bring written proof and it can get a 3 year booster vaccination.
