Aloha's Story

Hi there, I’m Aloha!

I’m a gentle 2-year-old Cattle Dog/Scottish Terrier mix with the sweetest soul. I’ve had quite the journey, after losing my own puppies, I lovingly adopted and nursed two orphaned babies as if they were my own. I have the heart of a mama and so much quiet love to give. Now that my foster siblings have found their homes, it’s finally my turn.

Here’s what makes me special:

-Brave & Resilient: I’ve been through a lot, but every day I’m growing more confident and starting to show my goofy side.

-Dog & Cat Friendly: I love the company of other dogs and do well with cats, too. Having a calm dog friend really helps me feel safe.

-Leash Star: I walk beautifully on leash and absolutely love going on sniff-filled adventures at the park.

-Independent Queen: I’m perfectly content lounging on a cozy bed with a chew while you’re away. No separation anxiety here!

-Zoomie Surprise: Take me to the park and you might just catch my adorable little grass zoomies. It’s my happy place!

A little more about me:

I’m crate trained and spayed, and I thrive on routine—it helps me feel safe and secure. I’m still working on consistent potty training and prefer having access to a yard. I can be shy at first and appreciate slow, gentle introductions (bonus points if you have treats!). While I’m not a big cuddle bug, I truly enjoy being in the same room as my people and quietly sharing space together.

My ideal home?

A calm home with a yard would be perfect for me. I’d especially love a friendly dog companion to help continue building my confidence. I’d do great with someone patient who understands that trust is built over time, and once you earn mine, you’ll start to see my sweet, goofy personality shine through.

My adoption fee is $400, which covers my vaccinations, spay, and microchip. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion with a resilient heart and gentle spirit, I just might be your girl.

Let’s make furever happen!
