Big, beautiful, and fluffy! She’s starting to use her voice with her humans, the sweetest little sass you’ve ever heard

What are the 3 first words that come to mind when you think of your dog: beautiful, crazy, and stubborn.

Provide a description of your foster dog and the ideal home for them:

This is probably the hardest bio I’ve ever had to write for a foster. When she came to us she was starved, abused, abandoned, and scared of people and loud noises. She knew how to go into her crate but otherwise had no training. She was scared of me trying to put a leash on her. Anytime I tried to talk to her she was so nervous. Her foster siblings have worked hard to teach her the ropes. She knows basic commands now and we are working on harder ones. She loves to go on walks and gets very excited when I get the leash out! She’s found a voice as a way to express herself; it’s not a bark or a howl, more like a sigh or a single word. She loves treats and is eating better, but she could still stand to eat more. She’s gaining weight nicely but still has more to go to reach a healthy weight. She is going to be a very loving dog.

Ideal home I’d say would have another dog to help with her nerves. She is still very much a flight risk, so a fenced yard would be nice as she loves to be outside! She needs someone as a constant, whether human or dog. She seemed to trust my kid faster than any adults we’ve introduced her to, so that would be a plus.

Whoever decides Ally is for them needs to have patience and be willing to work hard for her, someone who won’t give up on her. She deserves safety and love after what she’s gone through.

If you believe you're a good fit for Ally's second chance at a forever, please apply below.

https://form.jotform.com/252134844558058
