Meet Alfie<br/>Some dogs are just too adorable to ignore, and Alfie is one of them. He’s amazing! We think he is a three-year-old feist/chi mix. Alfie has a happy and bubbly personality. You will just love being with him. <br/>Alfie weighs about 25-30 lbs. He has a gorgeous fawn colored coat, expressive floppy ears and brown eyes that will melt your heart. He loves people, dogs and cats. He is well-mannered, calm, affectionate and snuggly. He’s an easy leash walker. He loves to stroll. Alfie needs a fenced yard. It doesn’t have to be big, just a place where he can go out safely to potty. He is almost house-trained but being on the smaller side he needs to go outside a little more often than a bigger dog. Alfie will make for a terrific companion to go on drives, take to lunch, or settle on the couch or porch with a good book or to watch TV. Alfie loves with his whole heart. He likes nothing better than to crawl into your lap for pets and scratches. He lives for attention and is so grateful for a kind hand. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes.
