Alfie's Story

We just rescued ALFIE from a shelter in SC. Because he is a senior dog, he didn't have much time left as they euthanize dogs that are either too old or what they deem to be not adoptable. We disagree. We saw how special he is. A quick visit to the spa for grooming and he will look even better. But not the point as he is just a great dog. ALFIE is a terrier mix, 10 years old, neutered, 20 pounds. Up to date on vaccines. Ready to play and snuggle. Good with dogs. Cats unknown. He loves attention, very dog friendly. He's currently in a foster home. Waiting for his forever home. Contact Patti @ patti@therescueexpress.org Adoption app:<br/>https://form.jotform.com/230096471132146. Video available

The Rescue Express's Adoption Policy
All potential foster families and adopters are required to fill out an application, both of which can be found on our website. Our foster families are our biggest resource, and the more foster families we add to our family, the more dogs we can save. Our foster families are required to provide a loving, healthy, temporary home for the dogs that we have pulled from shelters who have yet to find their forever families. The rescue covers all medical expenses while our dogs are in foster care. We also require our foster families to work with one of our trainers to address any behavioral problems that develop. This partnership with local trainers is essential to making our foster families' lives easier and raises each of our dogs' adoption potential. These trainers are dedicated to savin
