Alexus - Absolute Gem of a Dog!!

Poor 8 yr old Alexus was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter by her former "family" along with her much younger doggy brother (who was adopted!), and honestly it didn't look like she received any kind of care, ever. :( <br/><br/>She was thin, dirty, limping, and heartworm positive. She has sores and callouses from spending her life on hard surfaces (cage? cement?). <br/><br/>But despite all of that, this is one of THE sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet!!<br/><br/>Alexus is with us now in a wonderful foster home. She is getting good nutrition, had a spa day, and went straight to the vet to check out her limp.
