Meet Alexa
Senior Hearts Rescue and Renewal is the only licensed senior dog rescue organization in Western Pennsylvania. We do not have a shelter or a public facility. ALL of our dogs reside in foster homes in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area.
We are a 100% volunteer organization. Please respect our volunteers' time. If a dog is listed on PetFinder, he/she IS available for adoption. We cannot reply to messages, phone calls, and emails about a dog until we have received, reviewed, and approved an adoption application.

Completing this application is the first step in our adoption screening process. You MUST complete the application in its entirety in order to be considered as a potential adopter. Please select "More About Us" for further details on our adoption requirements. You can meet a dog ONLY after we have completed our adoption approval process.

And now a little bit of information on our little girl, Alexa...…
Alexa is 11yrs young and weighs about 10 pounds. She is a ball of happy energy. She's a very active little lady who likes to keep busy wherever she is at.
Alexa is obviously adorable and of course loving. She is a friendly gal who likes meeting new people and getting lots of attention.
Alexa is a little girl with a huge personality. She wants the world to know that she is there! She wiggly and happy in public, loves to go exploring in new places, and see new things. Alexa likes to live life to the fullest!
She's a good girl in the car, making her a great buddy to do errands with. She's hoppy to go to new and interesting places just for walks also.
Alexa is a quirky little girl that will try and make a bed out of anything. She’ll
try and squeeze into a shoe box only to realize, yes, it’s too small. It’s very
Alexa would enjoy a little dog sibling close in age and size to pal up with. But if you are home more often than not, she would should be ok managing your work at home and demanding walks at break time.
Alexa can be adopted within a two-hour driving radius of Pittsburgh, PA. If you want to make this beautiful girl a part of your family , you must first complete the adoption application at
