ALEX

Alex was surrendered to another rescue by a breeder who is no longer going to breed dogs. They asked for our help in finding him a home. He is 4 months old and about 25 lbs. Alex was in a foster home where he acted terrified of the other dogs so we brought him to my house and he is fine with all 5 of my dogs, large and small. It seems like he hasn't been exposed to other dogs much before now and just didn't know what to expect. My dogs are typical bouncy and playful dogs but they listen to me when I tell them to "back off" and that made Alex feel comfortable around them. He actually enjoyed romping with them once he understood they were not going to hurt him. If you have a bossy dog who likes to let the new dog know how tough he is, Alex may not do well. If your other dog(s) are calmer and non-threatening to him, he should do fine. Alex is very people oriented, just wants to be near you (under foot) and follow you around. He seems to enjoy the other dogs company but really prefers people. Has not been tested with cats.<br/><br/>adoption fee: 450
