Albus's Story
Albus had to leave the only home he knew when his owner entered hospice care. With no family to take care of him, grief and a bad tooth has made him a bit cranky, which is understandable. Beneath the grumbling is a dog who loves people, asks openly for pets and attention, and wants nothing more than to settle in beside someone he trusts. He gets along with other dogs but regards them with polite indifference, so a calm canine housemate is fine, though not required.<br/>Albus needs an adult only home or one with older children, since he can be a bit sassy. A calm couple or single adult would suit him best, and a retired household would be ideal. He walks well on a leash with plenty of enthusiasm and loves car rides. His coat needs no grooming and should grow fuller with good food and a settled home.
