Alaska 's Story
Alaska spent time in a loving foster home and is now back at the shelter. What can we say, this gal knew the shelter wasn’t the place for her- and she blossomed in a foster home! Alaska has good manners in the home, and will definitely alert her humans to any noises outside! She loves, loves, loves snuggling under blankets and playing with toys. With the gentle guidance of her amazing foster, Alaska truly has blossomed and is so ready to be adopted! She has such an endearing personality and would love to meet you!!

Alaska, Female, 2 years old, 45 pounds

Say hello to Alaska!
Or- shall we call her “adorable little white land seal!!”

Alaska arrived at FAPL from a home where she was noted as being good with other dogs and children, too. Alaska is such a loving, wiggly, adorable gal, and dreams of being back in a loving home. She’s so ready to be snuggled by your side and out of the shelter environment!

No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption.

If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
