BAHS cannot guarantee how a dog will behave with children, other dogs, or cats. It's important for potential adopters to assess their own household dynamics and ensure they are prepared for the responsibilities of pet ownership.

If you currently have a dog, a meet and greet will be required to assess compatibility. To ensure safety, your existing dog must also be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Adoptions at BAHS are by appointment only. To initiate the process, you'll need to fill out an online application, and someone from BAHS will get in touch with you. This appointment-based system helps ensure a smooth and personalized adoption process.All animals have been spayed/neutered, have been tested for heartworm/feline leukemia, have had age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, is on flea and parasite prevention and has been microchipped.
