Introducing Akira! She was brought to the shelter along with her bestie, Aloe because the owner's daughter became allergic to them. So both girls are in a quick search for a forever home or homes that will keep them safe and sound in their own home so they never have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter again. Akira is a little over a year , 1 month and 3 weeks old and weighs about 30 lbs. The volunteers describe her as a very sweet, really cute, but confused. They are more than ready for a second chance at a permanent forever home. She is also a smart young lady as she knows simple commands such as sit when asked and will sit nicely for some treats.
