Unfortunately, difficult circumstances left her family unable to properly care for her and they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her. They truly had her bests interests at heart. Akari was confused and stressed when she first arrived, but it never stopped her from being super sweet and affectionate to all of our volunteers. Akari is now in foster and her foster mom states that she is an absolute love bug! She is a perfect house guest. She is housebroken, friendly to everyone, and very well behaved in the home. Akari has been spending her daysin foster alternating between running on the beach and napping (and snoring!) on the couch. Akari is playful, engaging and has the energy level you would expect from a young dog. While her foster mom loves having her, she cannot keep her. Akari is looking for a family that will love and cherish her forever- this sweet girl deserves that and more! Akari is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed upon adoption.
