Meet Akamaru
* Goes by "Rue" for short
* Sweet boy that really starts to smile when he gets outside the shelter walls
* Can be a little shy meeting new people, but warms up quickly
* Loves to zoom around in the play yard outside chasing toys
* Has some amazing vertical jumping skills- will need to be monitored in a fence
* Greeted other dogs appropriately, but was very tense and stiff when meeting
* Would need a calm, tolerant dog friend with a very slow introduction
* Curious of cats until they acted defensively, then ran
* Should do well in a home with respectful children
