AJ Pit Bull Terrier & Australian Shepherd Mix Liverpool, NY

Hey guys! AJ here. I wanted to share a bit about me so you can fall in love and we can be besties. First a little abouty background-- I was born in the shelter and then got adopted out and brought back--- I promise you it was not my fault! I've been hanging with my shelter pals and while they are great fun I would like a home to call my own! My foster mom says I'm an absolute rock star in the car, I just lay down in the back seat and wait patiently to get out when we get wherever we are going. My leash manners are excelling and I'm so much better about pulling especially when you keep my attention. Humans are just so fun I have to learn to contain myself sometimes. Dog pals are so cool too! I have a cat friend I'm living with right now and he is fun to play with and I'm working on playing nicely and ignoring him sometimes too. He likes to run and that is just a great game of chase ( I know I know but I can't help myself sometimes). I'm learning to be in a crate at night and whenever my foster mom goes to work--- after a few minutes I settle right down and just sleep until the morning or until she's home from work. When I've been able to go for a good walk or do some mental games like learning tricks or some agility games I can focus much better.

My new best friend should help me continue to learn basic obedience and leash manners--- I'm just so eager to learn new things. I love consistency to help me learn and make good choices. If we are going to be besties I love bully sticks ( just in case you were wondering what to get me). I'm learning what toys are too and those are awesome! ( I have not destroyed any)
