Aidan's Story
Meet Aidan!

Aidan is a handsome, gentle-hearted boy who’s hoping to find his forever home in time for the holidays—and maybe that home is yours. He’s estimated to be around a year old, weighs about 50 lbs, and appears to be fully grown. While we can’t confirm his breed without a DNA test, his features and personality suggest he may be a German Shepherd mix.

Aidan was found as a stray in Texas and is currently living with one of our rescue partners, where he’s truly thriving. He’s been given the love, structure, and safety every dog deserves—but everyone agrees he’s more than ready to have a family of his own. His personality continues to blossom every day. He’s curious, playful, affectionate, and eager to learn. With consistency, guidance, and patience, Aidan will grow into a loyal and devoted lifelong companion.

He already has a great foundation—he knows some basic commands, is wonderful in his kennel, and has been the perfect house guest. Aidan is potty and house-trained (though like any pup, accidents can happen during transition), listens well, and walks nicely both on and off leash without wandering. He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and has done well around respectful children with slow, supervised introductions.

Aidan loves being outside and would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures. Because of his size and likely breed traits, apartment or condo living isn’t the best match for him. He’d do best in a home with access to a yard—ideally fenced—where he can stretch his legs, explore, and continue growing and learning. While experience with shepherds or working breeds is a bonus, it’s not required—what matters most is a family committed to love, training, enrichment, and stability.

Adoption Requirements:
• No apartments or condos
• Must have access to a yard (fenced preferred)

Health:
Aidan is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and on monthly preventatives. He is also 4DX tested (negative for all)

Transport Information:
All of our dogs, including Aidan, are currently in Texas and will travel to their adopters once the adoption is finalized. Transport is included in the adoption fee. Breed labels are educated guesses—we encourage adopters to focus on Aidan’s personality, needs, and long-term compatibility rather than breed alone.

MA License #479
