Agnes's Story

Agnes is a four-year-old, 32-pound butterscotch-and-white Dachshund mix with short legs, a long body, and a simply irresistible personality. This adorable little low rider has been through a lot, and now she is more than ready to find the loving family she deserves.

Agnes recently completed an incredible four months of heartworm treatment. Spending that much time in medical isolation is difficult for any dog, but Agnes handled it with grace and patience every step of the way. Thanks to her resilience and the care she received, she is now ready to leave those long months behind and start the next happy chapter of her life.

Through it all, Agnes has remained a sweet, friendly, and affectionate girl. She previously lived with other dogs at Pinal County, so she has experience sharing her space and appears to enjoy canine companionship. She also loves toys, welcomes affection, and has a charming trick that is sure to make you smile. She can sit up like a little meerkat, showing off her classic long-dog talents!

Agnes has all the makings of a wonderful companion: a gentle spirit, a loving heart, and an adorable face that is impossible to resist. We have a feeling that this special girl will capture hearts very quickly, and whoever adopts her will gain a loyal and loving best friend.

Agnes’s adoption fee is $250 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.

To schedule an appointment to meet Agnes, please call 602-971-1334.
