Agatha's Story
Our group is working with another group to help a young dog who was surrendered after an injury requiring costly surgeries and long recovery times.

Agatha had a front leg fracture repair at the end of September and had an additional surgery to remove the hardware in December. She is currently on an activity restriction (which she does not approve of!) Middle January she is expected to be back to normal and able to be adopted!

Agatha is smart as can be, she listens very well and would love a home able to continue with keeping her on track to be the best girl she can be. She is currently a very loving little lady who does like to protect/alert to all of the things she sees and hears that don't seem normal. She is still learning and needs patience as she learns new environments. Agatha does like to use her voice and she'll do just about anything for a treat and some praise! Keeping her calm is difficult because she is always ready to get into an adventure and has endless energy. Don't even get us started on fetch or how many times she'll bring the ball back!!

She is a year old and currently at 55lbs. She is eager to please and very healthy despite everything she went thru orthopedically. She is crate trained and house trained. Currently housed with other dogs and is a typical overjoyous Lab puppy with the other dogs (who tire of her quickly lol) and she will need assistance in appropriate play with others as she is currently incredibly excited and overly playful with both humans and dogs.

As of right now we are looking for a foster-to-adopt home. As in, the first step would be fostering until her medical is completed and she can be adopted at that time. Her medical is expected to be complete in January.

We are looking for a home with no children and dog experience.

Please send us a message if you're interested in helping her recover and potentially giving her a forever home!
RedemptionRescueMi@Gmail.com
