Lola was surrendered by her owner rather than face prosecution for neglect. Poor Lola was a breeder and came into a shelter horribly matted. She is a petite sweet, weighing only 7 pounds. Lola prances around so joyfully! Lola is heartworm negative and on HW preventative. She has been spayed, and had a dental(which resulted in her losing all her teeth as they were so bad!). Our vet indicated that these small dogs' teeth get bad at an earlier age than larger dogs. Lola also had a small mammary tumor (benign fatty tumor -YEAH!!!) removed. She is current on all her shots. Lola is only about 7 years old, our vet estimates. She is oh so very very sweet and will be just a doll when her coat grows. Lola is working on her house manners.
